Krista Dittmeyer,20, murdered in N.H. baby left in car
#69
When Phylicia Barnes was found in the river recently, the reports said that while cold water was good at preserving the body (by slowing decomp), it could definitely wash away key evidence. I guess we have to hope the perp(s) left dna on or in or near her car or on the way to the pond, or clear tracks of some kind (think michelin as well as bruno magli). Of course the brother and his friend were already known to be there, so that might be of no help if they're involved.

But if involved, why would they have returned to the scene of the crime? I know it's a truism about criminals -- but is it actually true?
