her mother was shocked? she knew baby-daddy was in prison for drug dealing. of course she didn't deserve to be murdered.

the baby has no parents at this time, and we can only hope baby-daddy doesn't get custody when he is released. someday that baby is going to look up her story. how she was dragged around on drug deals.

Krista Dittmeyer’s grief-stricken mother shook with rage at seeing her daughter’s alleged killer and his cohorts in court Wednesday, but also trembled upon learning of the darker side to the beautiful young waitress and single mom from Maine, according to a family friend.
“I think it was just a shock to her. She had no idea,” Kathryn Pratt said of Lanell Shackley, 38, of Bridgton, Maine, the day after comforting the bereaved mom in a New Hampshire courtroom as prosecutors divulged her 20-year-old daughter was the victim of deadly plot to rob her of drugs and cash. “This is all a shock to her.”
Pratt said Shackley had never met Michael Petelis, the 28-year-old Ossipee, N.H., man who prosecutors said pledged to be Dittmeyer’s “protector” while her boyfriend served time in jail on a drug rap, but instead set her up for robbery. Authorities allege Petelis lured Dittmeyer to his apartment where his pal, Anthony Papile, allegedly bashed her repeatedly in the head with a rubber mallet.
