I just heard a brief snippet of an interview with Robert Gates who said something like "I've worked under 8 Presidents and Obama's call (on Osama) was the most courageous I've ever seen".

I've heard several people say that at this point. It could have all gone horribly wrong & if it had, he would have been the only one blamed. The very same people who don't want to give him any credit would have been the first people to say because he called the shots the failure was all his.
