however i will say this...it is our duty as citizens to participate in this form of American jurisprudence. fortunately, people who feel that way can get out of jury duty by expressing that sentiment. the woman should have been struck. stealth jurors, those with an agenda like writing a book or sabotaging a case, are a slap in the face of Lady Justice.
I can't believe it, July 6th (posponed from Jan 17, when I was out of state) I have jury duty AGAIN, after already having been called upon 16 or 17 times (so many I forget) in the last 25 years!
I did my civic duty, leave me the frig alone already. I served on two juries, both about lawsuit cases. After the first 4 to 5 days, it gets a little boring. If they assign me to a jury this time, look out!
