Kid, some people think they have to obey every command that a police officer utters, these are the ones who will be first in line to turn in their weapons and surrender their gold and silver when the government tells them to.
Lawful orders given by a police officer that do not violate individual civil rights and are within the officers powers should be obeyed, however orders that run amiss of that criteria and forceful action taken by a police officer to try to enforce an unlawful rights violating order by police often cost the city, county, state lots of money in lawsuits each and every year.
The courts are full of civil rights lawsuits that are filed against police in this country, not all of them are frivolous.
This officer over reacted, how would he have handled several people watching from their yards? would he have arrested them all? or just one of them, or just the ones who said screw you, this is my property you have no PC to even talk to me.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
