you just can't fix stupid.
Clint Dunn, the father of missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn, was arrested late Wednesday night for failing to appear in court.
Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs said Dunn was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning on two Class B misdemeanor charges, possession of marijuana and driving with an invalid license.
Toombs said the charges are in no way related to the investigation into the disappearance of Hailey Dunn, who has been missing from Colorado City since late December.
Toombs said Dunn was arrested around 10:15 p.m., and booked into the county jail, where he remained in lieu of $5,000 bond Thursday evening.
Dunn previously had been arrested for failing to appear on the same charges in April, when he arrived nearly an hour late for his court date. He initially turned himself in to authorities on the charges in February.
"I talked with Clint this morning (Thursday), and he said he didn't know he was supposed to appear in court (Wednesday)," Toombs said.
