MAY have conflicted memories of their mother??? Ya think? They now will NOT have their mother in their lives because of her SELFISH desires. Running off with a dirtbag to a grimy trailer only to be killed by a jealous girlfriend. There are no 'Do Overs' with this shit. However, I am almost positive her last conscious thoughts were of her kids as she realized all this shit was spinning out of control. That part is sad.
Look, I'm no saint. I'm not trying to come off as perfect. I have children, and honestly, thoughts of them keep me in check any time I think of doing something that, shall we say, is morally questionable.
RIP Amy.
