Lopez said his client is divorced and has children and the woman who went missing might be married, but there is no further information available on her. Lopez explained the district attorney has 10 days to do its investigation and he hopes that within this time, anytime he can be able to tell his client to go home. Lopez said his client had spoken to the woman's parents and the Vice Consul of the U.S.A. in Curacao. Lopez had not received his client's statement yet, but he understands that nothing has changed and his client has only given more details on the first few statements.

In an interview with Justice Minister Arthur Dowers, he said that information to the press will only be given by the district attorney, Mr. Taco Stijn, because the technical information issued has to be consistent. The minister said that no information on the content of the case will be issued to prevent disturbances in the investigation before it is concluded.
Justice Minister Arthur Dowers
Minister Dowers said he had gone to the location where the lady disappeared at Nanki, San Nicolas during the massive, extensive search being conducted by police, maritime police, the coastguard and their partners, including the helicopter services. The search has not given any positive results; the minister said the press would be informed as soon as there is new information. On Tuesday an American woman was reported missing during a snorkeling trip by her travel companion. The companion, Gary Giordano was arrested on Friday as a murder and/or manslaughter suspect in the investigation.
Arubaherald.com has received information from a very strong source that the Aruban investigators have contacted the FBI in relations to the disappearance of American woman Robyn Gardner (35). The exact role that the FBI will play in this investigations is not know at this point. One of the motives to involve the FBI is that both the suspect as the victim are of US nationality.
