On the other end of the spectrum:
A woman in France just successfully sued her former husband for not having sex with her during some prolonged portion of their 21 year marriage. The judge indicated that marriage vows entail an ongoing commitment to having sex with your spouse if he/she wants and requests it.
The former husband claims he was tired and not healthy. He was fined 8,500 pounds, which I believe is around $12,500 USD.
No mention of adultery in this story. Maybe it should have been a topic of discussion in the marriage if the husband really was physically unmotivated? Or, maybe she's a sow and he considers the fine a small price to pay for getting rid of her. Either way, very bad decision and archaic reasoning by the judge, in my opinion. I don't think adultery should be against law and I don't think not sexing up your spouse should be against the law either. WTF are courts doing in the bedroom's of married people?
I wish we had pictures of this couple. A man paying thousands of dollars not to have sex has me curious...
