Was it carte blanche forgiveness or was it specific?
You know . . . forgive them for TSA lines and carry-on restrictions? Forgive them for a second term for Bush?. Forgive them for Juan Williams' NPR firing? Forgive them for treating their women as second-class citizens?
I hold no animus for each and every Muslim.
Just the ones who don't eat pork.
I think he was talking carte blanche. The thought has/had never entered my mind. To me, Muslims have been the enemy from that morning on 9⁄11 when the first plane hit the north tower.
He wasn't talking about forgiveness in a scared, pussy, PC way, either. And, he wasn't pandering to Islam. I think he was just trying to reach people that have been hardened in their hearts by this event. And, just reminding people of what Jesus' message is.
Sorry, Tiki, that I didn't have a witty comeback for you. You are the master.
