There's a bill headed to Jerry Brown's desk that would stop the practice (that some California cities have) of seizing the cars of unlicensed drivers at DUI checkpoints. They take the cars for up to 30 days. The argument is it unfairly targets illegal immigrants many of whom can't get a license for lack of documentation.





Or some such bullshit.
