I had a run-in with the law, ignored my probation and community service and got away with it for 8 years. When it finally caught up with me, the judge tossed me in the slammer for 30 days. Each 7 days in county counts for 8, so the 30 days I got worked out to 25. That was some of the nastiest fucking food I've ever eaten, and my cell mate was a goofy bitch who had the worst gas of any 9 men combined. If I didn't think it would increase my sentence, I'd have kicked the ever-loving shit out of her.
Hmm....how'd I miss this one?
Actually, I have used that incident to show my son that there are repercussions for your actions, and your fuck-ups do catch up with you. I make mistakes just like anyone else, and I had to pay the price for them. I tell my son that he can learn a lot from me, including shit NOT to do. I think being honest and open is a good role model for a kid.
