Police do not think boy was kidnapped.
WILLISBURG, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police say they are expanding the search area for a 7-year-old autisic boy who has been missing since Saturday afternoon.
Police said in a statement Monday that 60 cadets from the Kentucky State Police Training Academy have joined the effort to find Randall Leon Chesser. Despite the rain Monday morning, crews scoured the area around the boy's home in Willisburg.
The statement says the military has agreed to provide air support when the rain stops. In addition, police say a reverse 911 call describing the boy has been made to more than 450 residences within a 27-mile radius of the boy's home.
