Lady Cop,
I don't know much about UK castles. I have been to one "castle/fort" but it was here in the US. It was Castillo De San Marcos in St. Augustine, FL. It's beautiful and is full of history. I was too young to fully appreciate it back then though. :/

I've heard it's got a lot of activity from spirits/entities! I'd like to go there overnight, or the famous Alcatraz.

Ive been to St. Augustine...I spent my older teen years
in Jacksonville, so it was always a quick trip and fun way to
spend a Saturday. There are places in that building that make
your hairs stand up on the back of your neck...
