i have to laugh,my son and his buddy wanted some extra cash, so they hired on for the day dry-picking cranberries. the bog owner's machine had broken down, and he needed the bog picked.
so my son made like a Pilgrim today the old-fashioned way. he is downstairs now moaning about everything that hurts! hahahaha
i think it was a good historical experience. he doesn't. next i am sending him out for some wild turkeys.
they used this antique scoop, just like the Pilgrims.
