Say you had the chance to change one piece of history, (for example, kill off Hitler as a baby), and you could foresee what the alternate reality would be, (maybe a more viscous ruler is put into Hitler's place-some who not only kills Jews, but also goes after 10 other nationalities). Would you still kill Hitler, knowing his replacement is going to cause a million more deaths?

Nazism would have happened without Hitler, who's to say the alternative fuhrer wouldn't have been even more bloodthirsty and killed more jews than him?
You people need to check out the Back to the Future trilogy and Chaos theory to understand why you should never change the past even if the intention is to do good.
