Exactly. They would laugh and say you deserved it even though you earned all your own money.
Keep biting the hands that feed you, poor people, and see if it doesn't turn decent people into crooks. I will eventually get sick of paying taxes used mostly for you and will figure out how to lessen my burden.
I was going to do the math and see how much less I have to earn to bring home the same amount and not owe taxes. This climate does not make me want to earn more. I stopped working two jobs for this exact reason, they took almost my entire second paycheck in taxes extra last year and the year before. I'm not doing that shit anymore.
