hang on there Cracked One of little faith. What about metabolism? What about some gastrointestinal tracts that cannot break down the fats the way others can. Classic example is gall bladder disease. If you look up laprascopic choleysectomy (can't be bothered think thats how you spell it). You will find it associated with weight gain as the bile that breaks down the fats that is stored in the gall bladder is diluted. Hence weight gain. There are other physical reasons for obesity.
Having said that, I am sure there is not alot of fat ethopians running about.
