ASSAULT BY DEADLY CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT...in the spirit of the season~~
SOUTHINGTON, CT (WFSB) -
Police have arrested a local woman accused of stealing items at a weekend Christmas craft fair and then stabbing a woman as she was fleeing police.
Southington police charged 55-year-old Ruth Wagner of Plantsville with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, sixth-degree larceny and breach of peace.
Police said Wagner was arrested on Sunday afternoon at the Aqua Turf banquet hall, captured after she stabbed the victim in the arm with an ornament.
