If people don't work hard and sacrifice to take care of their children, they never learn to value them. Welfare is the biggest killer of children in the US.
I thought this was about the little girl they found strapped in her carseat in the river for a minute. Hopefully the "father" loved the little girl so much that hid her away and didn't hurt her for crying or doing other baby things.
