His face horribly charred from his alleged gasoline attack on a beloved Brooklyn mom, Jerome Isaac was jailed without bail yesterday, as the woman’s devastated family pressed the DA to lock him up for life.

“I know this is the defendant’s first offense, but the depravity of this one single act is beyond my description,” prosecutor Kenneth Taub told Judge John Hecht at the monster’s arraignment on murder and arson charges for torching Delores Gillespie, 73, in the elevator of her Prospect Heights building Saturday.

“The evidence of this particularly heinous and brutal murder is beyond question,” Taub said of the gruesome attack, which was caught on surveillance cameras.

“When he was arrested, he was reeking of accelerant . . . The burns on his body are consistent with the images.”

Isaac, 47, did not speak as he shuffled into court in handcuffs and a white jumpsuit.

His lawyer, Howard Tanner, did not ask for bail or a psychiatric examination.

Gillespie’s relatives have said they want want Isaac to spend the rest of his life in a cage for allegedly killing their matriarch, who’d offered him work as a handyman only to see him repay her generosity by stealing her DVD player and pots and pans.
