The way I read the report is that C.P. was the victim of a burglary in which a shot gun was taken. I can't imagine anybody reporting a weapon being taken if it was a stolen gun. Of course, I can't imagine alot of things including what happen to Lisa & Johnny!! That would be like me stealing an identifiable item, then reporting it as stolen from me.
