Love is officially in the air in the skunk world.

By the hundreds the black and white critters are leaving their rural homes and heading into Sacramento to find that perfect mate.

"They are everywhere,"

the owner of Creature Catchers, says a few hundred more skunks than normal are inside of city limits looking to hook up.

The annual migration will culminate in May when the offspring are born.

Andert says 90 percent of his calls these days are to remove a skunk from a home.
