Think about the way you are thinking about this. You didn't protect Smegs' rights because she is white. Logic dictates you would have helped had she been black.

Does that mean you find black people less able to defend themselves? Because if you have ever seen a 300 pound black woman wanting a refund at Target from an item she shoplifted, you wouldn't find them so docile and helpless.
