An Orange County man is in jail after deputies say his dog attacked and nearly killed a woman.
According to published reports, Investigators said 30-year-old Ian Summers knew his pit bull was dangerous when he invited the victim over to his house on 30th street on Thursday. That's where the dog attacked and he reportedly took off.
Deputies said the woman suffered life threatening injuries and could lose her both of her legs and an arm because of the severity of the injuries.
