Still, it sounds like PTSD to me and that he snapped. I can't believe after all those tours, he just woke up one day and decided he was going to go shoot 16 innocents. He pretty much had to have gone off his rocker...right?
I think you're going to hear about his buddy getting killed from inside one of the houses he attacked.
Just my opinion of course but it's worth more than a couple of cents.
