i do love to see the cavalry in full regalia with their magnificent horses~~
This summer the world’s gaze falls upon Britain for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations and then the London Olympics. The pomp and ceremony that will accompany these national landmark events is sure to leave the hundreds of thousands who witness it – and billions of global television viewers – awestruck.
As always, the Household Cavalry will be at the heart of the celebrations, continuing the regiment’s centuries-old tradition of service to the Royal Family and the nation. But how do the 341 officers and men at Hyde Park Barracks and their 232 horses achieve the perfection demanded by their Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Dan Hughes?
