Knowing me, I'd probably respond with a letter imitating some of his language. Something like this, perhaps:
Dear Mr. Hilliker,
I know exactly what you mean. We are really feeling you on this. Once I had to tell Alex three times to walk down the stairs quickly because we had to leave for the store, and he resisted. He would say ridiculous, defiant things like "You are not caring about my legs" while inciting his mother to challenge my decision. Although he was correct since he still had on his cast from a broken leg and was very light-headed from medication, we felt he had a blatant disregard for authority and a total lack of respect for his parents. We felt he would just be better off accepting our commands and being as much of a submissive moron as possible.
We have seen to it that our son fully understands the value of just doing what you are told, regardless of the facts.
