THIS can inspire road rage. the problem is monumental in florida where the elderly rule and are a large part of the tax base. they are NOT going to stop driving until they kill.
a few days ago for example, in the town where i first lived in florida, a 79 year old woman drove right through the Publix supermarket and 10 people are badly injured. one may die. i'll get some photos.
i know we have talked about this in other threads...the problem of how and when to take away the keys.
With roughly 100,000 Americans reaching age 65 every day, risk of drivers on the road with diminished eyesight and reflexes increases — and it's usually up to loved ones to judge when to tell Grandpa to hang up the keys.
