I suspect every woman is eventually too good for me in some fashion, and I don't lose time; it's just hard for people to understand how I entertain myself for hours in my own pursuits and I don't keep track of such trivia as the passage of hours. If someone has a problem with needing to know my whereabouts, that's their problem not mine. I am not an object to be owned and bartered, and most women have difficulty when reminded that they are only one of about four billion women on the planet, and therefore easily replaced.

So, it was a real girlfriend you were describing? Makes more sense. Some of us women have no problem with a lot of time apart and actually require it, but our boyfriends/lovers don't exactly appreciate it (until we find the right one, hook up with someone who travels a lot, or engage in long distance relationships). I don't think it's a "female" insecurity or trust issue; been on your side of that fence many times with some pretty strong men on the other side. But, I don't consider it "their problem"; just an incompatability that's hard to overcome.
