Detroit- A judge on Wednesday denied a request by Robert Bashara, named as a person of interest in his wife's murder, to have his attorney present while he provides a handwriting sample...

"This court's role is limited to whether or not Mr. Bashara's constitutional rights have been violated," Kenny said.
Griem said he was disappointed in the judge's ruling.
"This dog and pony show was not necessary," Griem said. "We were just asking which documents contained his handwriting. But they would never provide that to us."
Griem added he expects Bashara to provide the handwriting sample within "the next couple of days."...
