Cladking~ mummies for you

I think you're misunderstanding a few things here probably caused by all the whining. These people did not have hard lives. This was "Garden of the Lord on the way to Zoar in Egypt". This was the garden in the east of Eden. The fig eaters were healthy for over 850 years on average before relatively sudden aging. But even when their apparent age was 70 they'd be as healthy as a 70 year old could be. The literature is ambiguous about the effects of becoming a fig eater in later life but they apparently believed many of the effects and damage of aging could be reversed providing you get them early enough.

They paved paradise and put up a parking lot. Enoch said that by the time the Giza project was complete only 14 fig trees remained.

These people did not have hard lives. They were not only healthy but they were able to invent and institute ideas and processes that made life easier for everyone but especially themselves.

It's true that many Egyptians in many eras had hard lives but this was less true in the great pyramid building age. Yes, their skeletons show signs of hard work but this was a societal norm and even some of the nobles exhibit this same wear and tear. Most of the people had poor diets and this contributed to their short lives.

Quote:You should have been born 50 years before you were. Some of the great explorers and archaeologists weren't college folk back then, just people who had a keen interest like you.

You misunderstand my whine here as well. I'm not really an Egyptologist and my knowledge of the ancients is severely limited. I haven't put forth the effort to do the work because I rarely put forth so much effort. There are both good and bad reasons for this but it does fit my nature as well. I've merely stumbled onto the answer and have both disproved orthodox "theory" to a level that must be accepted by a "reasonable" man and demonstrated that my own theory is well supported by evidence. I've proposed myriad simple means of testing my theory including one that is so simple it could be done by a child with a few hundred dollars. But there is simply no mechanism in place any longer to test any of these ideas. It might be decades until Egyptologists even know that ramps were debunked back in 2010. In the meantime they'll continue spending money for computer modeling to prove they must have used ramps and digging up everything that doesn't move looking for ramps.

Quote:"Cladking" is a coin term, correct?

I often wonder.

I'm pretty sure that's the way it started.
