It's so funny. I noticed the California element of Mock didn't have one comment to make about the problems that the 'Trayvon' neighborhood was having prior to the shooting.

Multiple break-ins, all by black men. It was decided a Neighborhood Watch was needed to help prevent this.

The disintegration of the country is occurring because of people's viewpoints? That's just stoopid--I thought it was the illegals, welfare recipients and hoodlums that were causing the problem along with an unhealthy lack of personal responsibility etc.

And where did Donovan assign blame to hardworking people? Huh? Way to put words into someone's mouth.

Sure, Trayvon's area was infested with crime (let's just say), ergo it's completely reasonable that a regular citizen should chase down an unarmed kid and potentially confront him. That's ridiculous. Yes, blacks commit more crimes (in my area it's the Hispanics) but when you start painting a whole race with the same brush, that's when you go over in to bigot land. This may come as a shock, but there are poor, hardworking, minorities that are here legally. I'm always somewhat amused that it's the Hispanics sitting outside Home Depot hoping for work while the white guy stands on a street corner with a sign "anything will help".

And as for this Californian, the only time I questionned Zimmerman's thoughts was when it was briefly reported he might have said "fucking coons" and I've never looked at this as a white/black thing because, duh, the guy is Hispanic. But news flash...do you think Hispanics can't be racist against blacks? Or against whites for that matter? Racist goes in all different directions.

I'd love to know how you would solve the issues of crime, welfare abuse, poverty, gangs etc. A little ethnic cleansing might help fix things. Anyway, since you seem to think we West coasters all think alike and it's wrong-thinking, please share your plan to stop the disintegration of the country.
