Gawd, some of these parents just need to die in the same manner that they tortured their children. Sorry, but it's true. Just came across this story which is equally tear-jerking. (LC, didn't see it in another thread, but feel free to move/delete if covered elsewhere).

Kahlil Wimes was 6 years old and weighed 29 pounds when he died, after months of abuse by his lovely parents. At pre-trial last week, they were ordered to be held without bail for 1st degree murder. He'd been with a foster family and healthy prior to be returned to his biological parents who regularly beat and starved him. The mother had been questioned by DCS about the many scars and malnutrition reported by the school, but apparently didn't investigate further.
Hope they fry...
