DAMN! how terrible!

The vicious stabbing of a Burlington woman by her longtime boyfriend was broadcast via videochat to a horrified friend of their daughter, authorities said in court today.
Christopher Piantedosi, 39, was captured in the act of killing Kristin Pulisciano, 38, in their daughter’s bedroom on Thursday evening after the girl, 15, left her iPad on during a videochat with a friend, Middlesex prosecutors said. The 15-year-old had left her bedroom before her father entered and stabbed her mother 34 times in the chest and neck, authorities said.
Piantedosi was held without bail and ordered not to have any contact with his daughter or Pulisciano’s 20-year-old son. The couple’s daughter called 911 while fleeing the horrific scene.
Police found Pulisciano wedged between the wall and the bed in her daughter’s bedroom with a knife sticking out of her neck. Her sheets were covered in blood, authorities said.
A doctor who performed an evaluation of Piantedosi said he tried attempted suicide last week and was hospitalized for three days — but released the day before the murder. Piantedosi has a history of bipolar disorder but seems to be nonpsychotic and at one point teared up during interview, the doctor testified during the arraignment in Woburn District Court this morning.
Piantedosi was deemed competent to stand trial.
He is due back in court June 7.
