I just went through this the other day. Everyone is allowed their response, you're entitled to retaliate, yet having your say doesn't seem to be enough any more. I'm always under the impression lately that there are those who want me to shut other people up. WTF. Why would I prevent someone from having the very same courtesy you're given?

The above is a general statement, it applies to everyone even though I used "you" & "you're".
