I waited up for them - and they're 29!! They live half way around the world from me, so most of the time I don't have a clue what they're doing. But if they're here, I can't sleep until I know they're home safely. My husband, on the other hand, went to bed at his usual time and slept soundly.
I have no idea whether or not Trayvon's father tried to call the cousin. I can't even fathom how the father came to that conclusion. When your child goes out to walk to the store and doesn't come back in a reasonable amount of time, I don't think people would jump to the worst possible conclusions, but would call to find out what was going on.
I am sure you are right. Even when my child spends the night at my parents house, I can not rest until I know they are home for the night. IDK if he couldn't get a hold of him and there was sirens/cop cars/ems all over the place...wouldn't ANYONE be alarmed?
SO many unanswered questions, and I hate the fact that the parents TRIED TO MAKE IT A RACE ISSUE.
