I was in an accident once and other people in the car had a harebrained idea to sue. I briefly met with a doctor who was willing to state how horrible my injuries were (spinal etc.). I didn't go through with it but it showed me how corrupt and dishonest doctors can be in that regard.
This happens all the time. And THAT is why insurance is expensive. Because people commit fraud. Not because we are making boat loads of money.
We? Do you own the insurance company or do you just answer the phone for them, dumbass? The last time I checked I was getting ripped a new asshole for commercial auto while my Allstate agent was vacationing in the Keys.
I don't answer the phone dumbass. And if your premiums are high, it's because you have a shitty credit rating, tickets, accidents, criminal records....there are a lot of things that go into rating someone.
It's commercial auto, 8 trucks $1,000,000 liability. No accidents or shitty credit. They just thought they would screw me over for an extra $4000 when it was time to renew. Christ, you're even an idiot at your own job.
First of all, I don't work in underwriting so that isn't my area of expertise. I handle injury files. Second, all of the things I listed are still taken into account whether it's a personal policy or a commercial policy. And third, you have a shitty agent if they are trying to screw you over. YOUR FAULT for not shopping around. But I bet there is a reason they raised your premiums that much. Husband fail the drug test?
