Even if I feel that he was jumped (or suckerpunched), he IS the one that decided to pursue on foot when he was told not to. For that part alone, he should serve some time.
Zimmerman needs to serve time for shooting Trayvon straight through the heart at very close range. 2nd degree comes into play because Zimmerman, quite literally, hunted Trayvon down. To Trayvon, Zimmerman was a stranger. To Zimmerman, Trayvon was fucking asshole, up to no good. There you go. No prior relationship. Zimmerman fucked up big time.
