I think Edwards is guilty as hell and will probably end up being convicted on all or most of the six related charges; probably spend 5 years or so in jail. But, I'm glad this jury is deliberating carefully and asking to see exhibits. With prosecution witnesses like the corrupt, lying, profiting assholes Andrew and Cheri Young, I'd want to make sure all of the pieces fit together on each count too. Hope this jury gets it right.
None of that matters since the appeal will file automatically if he is convicted.
He will be given 6 months to get ready to go to jail. or he might even be released pending appeal.
Justice isn't blind in all cases.
Why doesn't it matter, Dick? Justice might be delayed due to the appeal process, but he will still do jail time unless he wins his appeal. I think the case against him is tight, so he'll do some time no matter what if he's convicted (at least, I hope so).
