Yeah, God forbid any evidence of the truth hamper the prosecution of the child stalker.
Think about why you would want to know what really happened but why you wouldn't want the jury to know...
That's kind of stupid. When there is a jury, of course I would expect them to hear all of the evidence. That's different than continuing to try the case in the media/public spotlight.
