Haha, my son is a middle schooler and we talk about everything. I'm going to ask him about locker rooms these days.

Thank you. I love it. When and if he stops talking, I might get worried but for now, he tells me everything. Who is smoking pot, if they've offered it to him, who the whores are at school.... Same with my daughter. I didn't have that AT ALL with my parents so I've always made communication a priority. Some parents have a hard time talking with their kids about sex, drugs etc. I might have gone overboard because I was having those conversations with them when they were about 6 but what the hell, it's working for us now.
I often pick them up from school and my first question is..."any good school gossip?". And I hear it! Who got in to trouble at school that day, who they see as heading down a bad path, fights etc.
He hasn't been around for me to ask about locker rooms today but maybe tomorrow.
