I never disliked you. I think you understand the basic principle of online interaction: in order to know someone, you have to get past the scripted responses and making them angry is about the quickest way to do it. Nothing is as honest as a heated response.
As for who you are really, I think you are the philosopher in Plato's cave. You have educated yourself and learned to see the world as it really is and not just a bunch of meaningless shadows cast by the fire on the cave wall. However, when you try to explain the realities to people who still only see the shadows, they think you're nuts or a bitch. It has always been thus. But who cares what they think anyway, they're still staring at the shadows.
I think you're funny by accident and frequently, because you say stuff that amuses you and sometimes the targets of your humor laugh without realizing they're the butt of the joke. I think you do not suffer fools gladly, which probably means no more marriages for you because we're all eventual idiots.
There's more, but those are the things I admire in you and make me like you.
And I don't dislike Sally for being a poser. She has led the safe life craved by most people. She's the rule, not the exception. Her hostility toward me stems from her deeply buried dissatisfaction at the drudgery of it and the fact that I pointed out what parts of her reality were simply flickering shadows.
