Antonio Bolfo was a police officer from 2006 to 2008, working in some of the most crime-ridden housing projects in the South Bronx. A born-and-bred New Yorker, Mr Bolfo's interest in law enforcement was sparked by the World Trade Center attacks, so he, like so many other officers, entered the police academy to find his purpose. But the more and more he fell in love with police work, the more and more he photographed it, capturing an intimate view of New York City's finest never seen before.
