I have waited a while just to use that line......
My dad was a funny guy. He always used to ask us when we were pouting, "does your face hurt?" ... "No, dad".... "Well, it's sure killing me".And, whenever we asked him for money or something one too many times, he'd pretend not to hear us and break out, "you stepped in WHAT?" or "your WHAT hurts?". Always made me smile.
