For some trolls that's the whole point, that's how they get their jollies. They lie & embellish, they are guilty of character assassination. They'll start rumors that have no basis in truth, they have no boundaries. The list is endless and while this sounds terribly dramatic I don't think it's a stretch to say they border on being a sociopath given they have no conscience.

Someone referred to me as a hardcore troll recently, said they had seen my vicious postings on many flame sites. That's not true at all but it didn't keep the person from lying and embellishing or elaborating on the lie when questioned by others.
