Watch the foreign news. It's not very cheery by a long sight but most countries actually tell the truth (or try). The media in this country is owned by the banks and they want to divert attention from what they are doing. They have more interest in moralizing and pushing a sick agenda than in presenting news.

You still can't believe anything you hear but I like the idea that the people presenting the news aren't intentionally twisting, massaging, and pre-editing it for me. Almost everything you see on the news here is a lie on at least one level. The sickest lie they've told a million times is that all these people being murdered in the city were accidental; caught in the cross fire. They need gangs to profit on drugs so the media protects them and their recruitment practices.
