Robbing banks is so last century. There's better and easier money to be had for the unscrupulous sort these days. Hell, if I start a charity and name it Christ for Kids and Puppies or something, I could rake in millions, or promise a small percentage to actual charity work, and keep the rest for business expenses. Why steal when I can just have people give me their money? It would take years for them to figure out it was a sham, and if I set it up as a religious entity even if they know they can't do shit. So many people want to buy themselves a God...SOMEbody's gonna be willing to sell it to them.
