Not that I give a flying fuck what you think, douchebag; but I would hate some people here that I actually give a fuck about to think the wrong thing about my religion.
1. Judaism has NO central religious authority that could even formulate laws such as "being a Jew for life if you are born to it".
2. If you violate the thirteen Jewish principals of faith that were created by the Maimonides thenyou are NOT a Jew anymore. That's how Judaism works for all congregations.
3. There is no such thing as Orthodox Judaism, really. It is a 19th century catch phrase created by RabbiHirschfor anyone that is a Jew that follows Torah. Any Orthodox will tell you it's just Torah Judaism.
4. Within the subgroup of Jews that comprise being Orthodox, there is no single Rabbinic body that sets law for each congregation. So one Orthodox congregation could observe Halakha (Jewish Law)one way, and another could observe and follow Halakha another way.
