Oh, Wiesbaden, I love that region. Hate the Riesling, love the Spätburgunder (Pinot noir). The drinking at early ages is 100% Hessian, but I guess the pool halls could be from your Hungarian heritage...
Ha, tell your daughter if she gets lost in the Harz, just walk downhill, the next village should be reached soon enough. And if she sees a really, really big cat with pointy ears - she should not move! (j/k - the lynx would probably be more frightened than your daughter)
But seriously, if you get to that part of Germany, let me know - I know a few really nice spots where a person so inclined can be adventureous with a side of reckless - or just chill to one's heart's content.
